Overview
In India, the idea of God is inseparable from the idea of infinity. Lord Vishnu is timeless in every way and all paradoxes are reconciled harmoniously in Him. Although He is the maintainer of universes, to His mother Yashoda, He is just her darling little boy. The wandering mystic Purandara Dasa explores this paradox in his famous composition Jagadodharana.
In this video rendition of the song, God – infinite, contradictory – cannot be found by His devotees in his texts or scriptures, for He is found among people who love Him.
