Overview
Wanted by the French and Belgium authorities, Cyril Astruc – nicknamed « the Prince of CO2 » – is one of the masterminds of the heist of the century, the carbon quota fraud, where five billion euros were diverted from the European states. This money was notably supposed to finance environmental forces, reduce C02 emissions to fight against global warming. Wanted since 2011, from Israel to Belgium via the United States, Astruc has always managed to slip through the cracks. But around the « Carbon Mafia », blood is in the air: Astruc is now wanted by rival organized crime groups.
Astruc is a colorful character, whose hunt is told by the French, Belgian and Israeli police investigators and judges as well as Interpol representatives.
